English Conversation Club

Every Thursday evening at Waverley, from 7:00 – 9:00pm, we hold our English Conversation Club. There we meet migrants who are keen to improve their conversational English in a Christian context. Contact Merrilyn, 0404 098 768.

Breakfast

We hold two of these, on the Father’s Day and Mother’s Day weekend, with a guest speaker and great food. Members enjoy inviting their friends to these popular Saturday morning events.

Advent Service and Supper

At the end of November, the church at Waverley is packed to the rafters with people coming to worship at the beginning of Advent and to hear the Monash Chorale.

God for Us

Those seeking answers to life’s big questions or would like to know what the Lutheran Church teaches or just want to enquire about Christianity, can join a God for Us 10 session course.

Children’s Project

Each year, the children and the children’s ministry team at Waverley hold a major fund raising event for Christians in need.  It has an educational focus, a special presentation and then to cap it off, a lovely meal cooked to recipes from the region of the world being supported.
