Church Festivals
No two services are alike but on some occasions we complement a service with a special emphasis.
Ash Wednesday – We use ashes to remind us of our mortal existence and need for Christ.
Maundy Thursday – We celebrate Christ’s institution of the Lord’s Supper and strip the altar bare.
Good Friday – A special theme is chosen each year to emphasize our Lord’s suffering for us using drama or special presentations.
Easter Sunday – Continues the Good Friday theme and transitions to the glorious resurrection.
Pentecost – How could we miss this opportunity to go for the colour red and with drama and song, glorify the coming Spirit?
The Annual Children’s Project – Each year the children support a project, tell us about in worship and help raise funds and cook a meal.
Milestone Baptismal Sunday – We are baptised and we are growing as God’s people. Children receive resources to mark a year of growth.
